Dear all,
Well, what a long time since I last wrote...Feb 2018! Wow! How time flies!
Here we are in a new decade, relocated now up to Cumbria. Hubby agreed to move back to where my roots are, to be closer to my sister/brother etc. It was difficult, as our children are still down South, however, we do travel down once a month to our commercial clients/staff, so we still see them.
Last year was a blur as I did a stint in school, teaching again. It was initially 6 weeks to help out, but turned into 6 months, which ran up to the summer hols, so what with preparing to move and recovering from my teaching stint the time flew by! Then it was Christmas...and here we are now.
Our commercial clients and staff are doing well down South and we are looking to build up our business up North (being a Northern lass it feels good to be back). So watch this space.
We have bought a Grade 2 listed Farmhouse in the South Lakes and it is absolutely stunning here - we still cant believe we are here, living so near the Lake District and enjoying the pleasures and beauty of Kirkby Lonsdale - stunning. I recently found out that KL features in the new Doctor Dolittle film, so that will make interesting viewing.
Hubby and I also need to finish off our book that has been put on a back burner with all the excitement of life, so hopefully 2020 will see that finished and published.
