Hello again...long time no hear from me!
Well, here we are well into 2017 and I have only just managed to find time to update the blog page! Each week flies by in a blur! Christmas was a challenge, we learnt a few lessons over that busy time as staffing was an issue; we will have a good long think of how to do things for Christmas 2017 me thinks!
The business is growing nicely; we now have a total of 16 cleaners in our team, to balance out the large amount of cleaning hours that are booked each week. The customer recommendations are bringing us in new customers on a weekly basis, so thank you for that kind people; we must be doing things right. We are also in the process of moving one of our staff over more to the admin/customer service side to help with our growing customer base, as it is getting a difficult job to do on my own now.
July will see Gary, my husband and joint Director of the company, join us full time, as he retires from teaching after 39 years of teaching - 30 of those years as a Head of English! I am looking forward to that :)
We are looking forward to planning our 1yr old celebration, which I think will be held at our home, in the garden. That way we can invite our lovely employees and their partners. I cant believe that one year has passed so quickly already!
Ok...back to the grind, I will try not to leave it too long next time...(famous last words!)
